The Special Minister of State, Joe Ludwig, launched the Audit’s Australia: The State of Democracy, in Canberra on 13 October. He described the book, which was written by Marian Sawer, Norman Abjorensen and Phil Larkin, as a “succinct, highly readable and useful reference.” The full text of his speech is here. Marian Sawer’s article about the book for the Canberra Times is here, and Norman Abjorensen summarised the main findings in this piece for Inside Story. And the book is reviewed by William Bowes in the Australian Review of Public Affairs.
